The Ex Libris collection was launched in 2021, and is the first range dedicated entirely to whiskies of the world, using a literary perspective. With its unmistakable design inspired by book covers, the range explores distilleries across the world with releases of exclusive single casks bottled at cask strength. The series draws inspiration from novels and poetry, naming each bottling after the work of an author with deep ties to the spirit’s region of origin.

The first collection, launched in 2021,

Paid tribute to the novels of Ireland’s most famous poet, Oscar Wilde, and the Canadian author Mordecai Richler with three vintages of Knappogue Castle from West Ireland and one whisky produced by J.P. Wiser’s in Ontario. The second opus stays true to Knappogue Castle. The range was inspired by Chamber Music (1909), a collection of poems by James Joyce.

This year’s range is dedicated to French whisky with three versions from Celtic Whisky Distillerie. The three single malts were named after titles of volumes by the Breton poet Yvon Le Men.
